We must make a conscious effort to avoid the blues. Try to find positive messages to
focus your mind on instead of all the negative messages found on television media.
Daily Prescription for Health
Research shows that individuals who watch negative news images report being
significantly more anxious than those who do not. Late night television activates your mind and provides auditory and
visual stimulation and that can keep you wake and keep you from getting the necessary sleep your body requires daily.
Try turning. The television off at least 1 hour before sleep and get at least 8 hours of sleep nightly.
