7 Day Juice Fast

The 7 DAY Juice Fast

After following the 21 day liver support and detoxification program, you will begin the Juice Fast.   During this portion of the fast, you will not take your vitamin supplement for the 7 days, but you may resume afterwards.  You will Juice fresh fruits daily:  Oranges, Bananas, watermelon, tangerines, lemons, grapefruits, pears, peaches etc.  Organic is recommended and you my use hydrogen peroxide to soak and rinse fruit that was not purchased organically.

 

Juices should be juiced fresh and drank fresh after being made.  You may use a blender if you would like to make a smoothie and a powder nutritional supplement.

 

Drink juices 4-5 times a day. During the fast:  Avoid standing quickly from sitting or lying down.  You may notice a few different changes in the tongue or excess mucous drainage.  This is normal as the body is cleansing itself of toxins.

Overview
 
Overall the 7 day juice fast is designed to complet your detoxification process and give you added vitality and renewed energy.   You should continue to increase your intake of clean, pure water during this time,   The recommendation is  at least two quarts (approx 1/2 gallon)  throughout the duration of the fast.
 
You will not be taking your multiple vitamin during the juice portion of your fast, but you should resume immediately after. 
 
Once again, you should select organic fruit as much as possible.  If organic purchase of fruit is not possible, care should be taken to wash fruit well and or peel the skin.   Hydrogen peroxide and water  can be use to soak fruit and wash off.
 
When juicing oranges and grapefruits, try hard to leave on the white pithy part of the peel, it contains bioflavonoids which are healthy.  There are four main  fruits and vegetables that should usually form the base of each juice:  carrots, apples, celery and or tomatoes.  Either one or any combination of these should make up the greatest portion of your juice.  They taste good, mix well,  and disguise the taste of other veggies you may not like the taste of.
 
Your portion size will be between 8-16 ounces of juice. After juicing freshly prerpared juice, drink or slip slowly to mix with saliva.
 
 
Breaking My Fast
 
The following is recommended after emerging from the 7 day juice fast   You should reintroduce foods gradually to realize the greatest health benefits of fasting.  Your digestive tract has been at rest.  That means hydrchloric acid and pancreatic enzymes may not be available to help digest protiens, starches,  and fats right away. 
 
The longer the fast, the more slowly you should emerge from it.  Gradually reintroduce fruit, then vegetables, then starches such as breads and finally protiens and fats. 
 
You should also restart your vitamin supplement which contains digestive enzymes.   Here are the recommendattions for the 4 days following your fast:
 
Day 1:  Eat fresh fruit such as apples, watermelon, grapes or fresh berries every 2-3 hours. Watermelon has a high water content and is easy to digest.  You may also add a juice drink with phytonutrient powder.    Avoid pinapples on this day.  They contain strong enzymes.
 
Day 2:  Have fruit in the morning and for lunch and dinner have a bowl of fresh vegetable soup.  Avoid creamy soups.  Eat slowly and chew food well.  Continue drinking water.   You may continue to drink your juices during the day also.
 
Day 3:  To the fruits and vegetable soup you can ad a salad and or baked potato.  You may also add a slice of  whole grain bread such as Ezeikel, manna, or brown rice bread.
 
Day 4:  You may introduce a small amount if organic fish, chicken or turkey.   Again steaming, stir-frying or grilling are  optimal methods to prepare your foods.


   

7 DAY Juice Fast Menu

Breakfast

        Lime, 1 cup Berries, 3 oranges, nutrient powder

        1 pink grapefruit, small lemon, 1 apple, 1 scoop nutrient powder

        Handful of parsley, 2 apples cored and seeded, 1 scoop of nutrient powder

Snack

        2 celery stalks, 2 apples-seeded, 2 carrots

        Cut watermelon juiced

        3 inch slice of pineapple with skin, in ginger root, and handful of parsley

Lunch

        1 beet, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, sweet potato

        head cabbage, 2 carrots, greens, 1apple

        1 tomato, handful of parsley, 2 celery stalks, 1 garlic clove.

Dinner

        3 Carrots, handful of collard greens, spinach or beets, handful of parsley, garlic 

Clove

        4 tomatoes, 2 celery stalks, cucumber, 3-4 broccoli sprouts, 1clove

Garlic

        2 Carrots, 1 Beet, Cucumber, 2 celery stalks
